Makeup Tutorial and Training for Beginners:
Makeup is one of the trending things now. Some call it makeup, some call it Makeover. Ladies now spend a lot just to look good. Those that didn't know how to do makeup few years ago have started doing makeup and some are already experts. They have started using makeup as a business and trust me there is huge money in doing makeup for people. Some ladies do makeup everyday and those that are unable to do it pay others to do it for them.
We still have people who are struggling to do makeup, we have those that can do simple makeup but they still want to improve.
Loving how you look good with makeup and not knowing how to do it yourself can be annoying. If you draw brows anyhow or leave too much concealer on your face or apply eye liner/lipstick in a bad way, some people will laugh at you and you will start hearing words like ' Na by force to fo makeup?' HOW CAN I DRAW MY BROWS? I WANT MY BROWS TO BE ON FLEEK? I DON'T LIKE THE WAY I DRAW MY BROWS. WHAT CAN I DO? Follow these steps:
*Start by brushing out your natural eyebrows with an eyebrow brush
* Now draw a slanted line just below ur natural brows using a brow pencil (Brown pencil)
* Have you done that? Now Draw another slanted line a little above your natural brows.
* Mark your arch by lining up the end of your pupil.
place a dot on that line on your brow bone.
* Using dots lightly draw the shape you want your eyebrow to take.
* Fill in your brows by with tiny strokes using your pencil or brow filler.
*Blend the pencil strokes with an eyebrow brush to soften or lighten the
lines & highlight the brows using highlight
powder or concealer.
When you are done check what you have done and compare your brows. Check if one is not raised than the other.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THIS WHEN DOING MAKEUP, STOP IT!
1) APPLYING FOUNDATION WITH YOUR FINGERS- Stop using your hand, using your hand sometimes leave harsh lines on the skin. It is better to
use a brush/ beautyblender/ makeup sponge or wedge.
With a Kabuki brush, you can blend the foundation in circular motions.
With a makeup sponge or beauty blender, dab gently while blending your foundation or concealer to avoid harsh lines.
2) HIGHLIGHTING FINE LINES-
foundations are
meant to hide lines not enhance them, avoid applying too much foundation under the eyes & around the
mouth . If you have excesses, you can use a facial wipe.
3) TESTING THE COLOUR OF FOUNDATION ON THE BACK OF YOUR PALM. Stop doing this, if you want to test the colour, test it on your jaw line, neck, underneath d eyes, or around d nose to find a match. Why did i say this? The back of your hand might be a bit darker than your face.
I AM A BEGINNER BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO APPLY FOUNDATION. HOW SHOULD I APPLY IT?
-Mosturize your face
-Apply face primer/milk of magnesia (optional)
-Start with a small amount of foundation. Dab the
foundation on the centre of your forehead, under your eyes, your nose & chin.
-Spread the foundation outward. Start at the centre of your face & spread the foundation towards your hairline & neck. You can use makeup sponge, beauty blender or foundation brush to blend your foundation though beauty blender and makeup sponge give more well blended coverage.
-Blend your foundation. Use your tool of choice to blend your foundation around your face. Move in a direction where it's convenient for you to blend your foundation well. There
shouldn't be any noticeable lines where your foundation
starts or ends; it should blend smoothly into your ear area, neck and hairline.
