My mother in law is not from this planet
I always wondered where my husband got some of his silly attitudes from not knowing it from his mom
So this woman actually visited us and plan to stay for two weeks , well I wasn't against that since she is the type that don't give me problem infact she is always ready to help me out in the kitchen
She arrived on Friday , so my husband plans to take us all for shopping on Saturday , which is today !
I told the kids and they are happy about it , I have a son and a daughter four and five years of age respectively, we all dressed up entered into the car and we drove to the shopping mall
My mother in law is with the kids shopping what the kids want while my hubby is at the wine section checking out some cool wine ,
I was still checking out some things , like the bournvita and the milk when a dude walk up to me , he is putting on a smile and holding a car key
He started asking me out , I told this guy am married but he didn't believe ,he said that am trying to use that to send him off , just then my mother in law appeared in front of us with a mischievous smile, I am about to introduce my mother in law when she interrupted ,This is my .. I am her mother and by the way , are you her fiance cause I have been pestering her to bring a man home my mother in law said to the guy , yeah ma and I would be visiting you soon the mumu guy replied with a smile
I wonder what this woman is planning in her mind , and also ma I will pay for anything you shop for today the mumu guy added
I look at the guy and back to my mother in law and sigh , I also play along , just then my husband appear behind us , he was about to say something when my mother in law interrupted again , this is my driver Steve , she said introducing hubby as driver to this new dude and the idiot smile , my hubby look at his mom and the woman gave a signal in which my hubby understand what going on , eh mummy I wanted to tell you that the car doesn't have enough fuel to convey us back home , I need to go and buy now my hubby said right in front of us , you don't need to stress mummy dictate your account number and I will send you money for fuel this new guy said , I know he is trying to impress my mother in law who he thought is my mom
Hubby dictated his account number and this guy transfer 15k to hubby , hubby smile and left us alone
After about twenty minutes of talking , this dude asked for my number in which I gave him hubby number, my mother in law announced to us that she is done shopping in which the dude pay up , while my mother in law took the goods to the boot just then my kids rush to me with an excitement on their face
Mummy ! Mummy ! Daddy allowed us to take big big ice cream my son said and also teddy bear my daughter added , dude look at me with a confused look , mummy ? Daddy ? What that means the dude asked , just I was about replying , hubby walk up to us and said , honey we are done and also mama is already waiting for in the car hubby said and give me a light kiss on the lips , dude stand right there and watch us as we left , he was dumbfounded and speechless
We are at home now sharing the thing we bought , that 15k wey that mugu dash you ,na 5k be my share cus na me run the plan my mother in law said in pidgin
No wahala I go transfer am enter your account my husband replied his mum , I stare at this two people and concluded they are not from this planet !
