As shared on fb, an alum is any group of hydrated double salts. Basically, it is that little crystal-like stone you barely take note of.
Generally, people know to use alum as a water purifier, but alum has a lot of other uses you might not have known and I'll be exposing the way to use it to you
HOW TO USE ALUM FOR:
*CANKER SORES
Though this can be a little painful, but if you want to treat those persistent sores that appear in your mouth often, then alum works wonders
HOW TO USE
*Pound and powder a tiny piece of alum
*Press it on the sore and leave it on for 5-10 minutes (Do not swallow)
-Rinse out with water
OR
*pound and powder a little amount of alum in mortar
*Start boiling a cup of water with a little salt
*As soon as the salt dissolves turn off the heat and add your alum
*When the alum dissolves, strain the water and use as a mouth rinse
*Hold it in your mouth for about 2-3 minutes before spitting out
*Do this twice a day to clear canker sores
*TO STOP BLEEDING FROM A CUT
Alum can be used to stop bleeding if the cut is not too deep
*Grind and powder alum
*Apply it to the cut to cease the bleeding.
*AS AN AFTER SHAVE TREATMENT
If you are one of those men who suffer from bumps and discoloration from shaving then try this remedy
HOW TO USE
*Get a block of alum
*Rub it onto wet face after shaving
*You can wash out after 15 minutes or you can leave it in.
*Continue for a few weeks and notice the improvement

HOW TO USE
*Add 2-3 tablespoon of alum powder in warm water
*Soak the feet for 20-30 minutes
*Dry the feet with a towel

*Boil water and add your alum
*Allow it to cool
*Then wash your face with it
*TO TREAT CONSTANT ITCHING ON THE SKIN
*Use a small quantity of alum powder
*Mix with 2 teaspoon of lemon juice
*Rub it where you feel itching.
*TO STOP EXCESSIVE SWEATING
If you have a problem of sweating excessively, then:
*Put some blocks of alum in a bucket of water
*Allow it dissolve
*Then use it to bath and that problem will be solved
*FOR THE TREATMENT OF JAUNDICE
-Get a fine powder of alum (5 gram)
-Divide it into 10 equal parts
-Use one part in the morning with cow milk, the other in the afternoon with cow milk and another at night also with cow milk. (Just a little cow milk should do)
*FOR CRACKED HEELS
-Wet an alum block
-Use it in scrubbing the cracked heel morning and evening to repair in a few days
*AS A DEODORANT
Instead of using a chemical deodorant, you can use alum instead. It will stop excessive perspiration and lighten your underarms
HOW TO USE
*Use a wet block of alum to apply around your underarms after a bath
*Use only once in two days
*TO ELIMINATED DARK CIRCLES AROUND EYES
-Mix a pinch of powdered alum with warm water and rub it around your eyes for 30 minutes everyday. (Don't let it get in your eyes)
